HITMAN Trilogy
Twenty-plus sandbox levels, one bald assassin, and enough replayability to sink a hundred hours - if you can stomach the always-online handcuffs on a solo game.
Veredicto de GamerScout
The benchmark for sandbox stealth - buy it if you enjoy replaying missions; skip it if always-online DRM on a solo game is a dealbreaker for you.

I've come back to this trilogy more times than I care to admit, and the reason is simple: no other stealth game gives you a playground this dense and then trusts you to figure out your own path through it. Each level in the World of Assassination trilogy - spanning the three games IO Interactive released between 2016 and 2021 - drops Agent 47 into a sprawling sandbox location and says 'go'. Paris, Sapienza, Miami, Dartmoor, Chongqing: these aren't corridors with a sniper nest at the end. They're living ecosystems where disguises, environmental traps, poison vials, thrown wrenches, and even staged 'accidents' are all legitimate tools. The loop of learning a map, spotting an opening, and executing a clean kill feels genuinely satisfying. Then doing it three different ways on the same map feels even better. The trilogy bundles three access passes - Hitman 1, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3 Standard Editions - which means you're getting all three games' worth of locations under one roof. That's roughly 20 main missions across three games, plus bonus missions, escalation contracts, and Elusive Targets that rotate live. Mission Stories (essentially guided breadcrumbs) ease new players into the complexity, while veterans can ignore them entirely and craft their own approach from scratch. The progression system unlocks new starting locations, items, and disguises for each map the more you play it, which makes replaying missions feel purposeful rather than padded. Not everything holds up perfectly. The story arc - Agent 47 and handler Diana Burnwood dismantling a shadow organization called Providence - provides just enough narrative glue to make the whole thing feel cohesive, but the writing stays functional rather than compelling. More genuinely annoying is the always-online requirement. For a single-player game, locking progression, challenge tracking, and Elusive Targets behind a server connection is a design choice that ages poorly and frustrates anyone with an unreliable connection. Offline mode exists but strips out a chunk of what makes the live service side worthwhile. Fans have been vocal about this since the first game launched, and IO has never fully resolved it. That friction aside, the trilogy represents some of the most confident, replayable level design in recent memory. Hitman 2's Miami Grand Prix and Hitman 3's Dartmoor manor mystery regularly come up in conversations about the best individual levels in the medium - and they're right to. The package rewards patience, curiosity, and a willingness to fail creatively. If you approach these maps like puzzles rather than action games, the return on your time is enormous. New players have the clearest path forward: buy the trilogy, start with Paris (Hitman 1), and accept that the first run through any level is basically a paid tutorial for the real game you'll play on attempt two.
