I spent a couple hours with Dungeon Color and found a game that knows exactly what it is: a minimalist puzzle box where you cycle through flame colors to match specific requirements in each room. The mechanic is straightforward, but the interactions stack up fast. Obstacles force you to think several moves ahead, and the colorful presentation masks some genuinely brain-twisting logic. It's the kind of game that looks cute until you're stuck on level seven and realize you've been approaching it backwards. There's not much here beyond the core loop, and that's fine. No story fluff, no padding. Controller support works smoothly, achievements give you optional challenge. If you like compact puzzle games that respect your time and expect you to figure things out, this scratches that itch. It won't rewrite your gaming year, but for a few focused hours it does exactly what it promises.
