Super Pack 4 drops Fused Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito into Xenoverse 2 with an extra episode, new quests, and a pile of skills and costumes. Fan-service content, no question.

Let me be straight with you: this is DLC for a live-service Dragon Ball arena fighter, and it does exactly what DLC for live-service Dragon Ball arena fighters does. Super Pack 4 adds two playable characters - Fused Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito - alongside one additional story episode, three parallel quests, five skills, four costumes, six Super Souls, and one stage. If you know what those words mean in the context of Xenoverse 2, you already know whether you want this. The two character additions are the actual headline here. Fused Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito are both heavy hitters from the Future Trunks arc, and their move sets pull from that source material competently. Vegito in particular has the kind of kit that rewards aggressive players who like being in someone's face constantly. Zamasu plays a bit slower, more deliberate, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you like punishing overextension. The five new skills spread across both PvP and PvE use cases, so there's at least some practical value beyond collection-filling. The parallel quests are functional grind content. Three is not a lot, but the design philosophy in Xenoverse 2 has always been quantity-over-depth for these side missions, so managing expectations is part of the deal. The new stage adds visual variety, which matters more than it sounds in a game where you spend a lot of time staring at the same arenas. The episode content is brief - we're talking minutes, not hours - and exists mainly to frame the character unlocks narratively for people who care about that. What this pack does not fix is anything structural about Xenoverse 2 itself. The netcode has always been its weakest point in competitive play, and Super Pack 4 does nothing for that. If the base game's online experience already frustrated you, this adds cosmetic and roster depth but not technical improvement. For players who play primarily offline or in coordinated sessions with friends, that caveat matters less. Bottom line: this is content for people already invested in Xenoverse 2 who want more of it. The character picks are strong, the extras are serviceable, and the price of admission is proportional to how much time you already have in the base game. New players should build mileage with the base content before even looking at the DLC tab. Fred, Scout Team
