Two of Larian's landmark tactical RPGs in one bundle - if you missed DOS1 or DOS2 before Baldur's Gate 3 made Larian a household name, this is the most efficient way to catch up on what started it all.

I've spent more hours than I'd like to admit across both titles in this bundle, and the honest pitch is simple: The Source Saga packages Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition and Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition together, with their respective DLC included. That's the complete foundation of everything Larian built before Baldur's Gate 3 turned them into one of the biggest names in RPGs. If you skipped either game, this is the catch-up bundle. Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is the one that shows its age the most. The Source Hunter storyline - stopping the Void Dragon alongside the wizard Zandalor - is a slower burn than DOS2, and the camera and UI feel like products of an earlier design era. But what it does with environmental interaction and elemental combo combat still holds up. Rain on oil becomes a fire hazard. Teleporting an enemy into your cloud of poison is a legal move. The game rewards you for treating the world as a physics sandbox, and that philosophy carries all the way into DOS2 and beyond. The co-op here, local or online for two players, makes it significantly more enjoyable - the game was clearly designed with a duo in mind. Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is where the bundle earns its price. As a Godwoken - a persecuted wielder of forbidden Source magic - you assemble a party of up to four, each with their own origin story, competing goals, and reasons to stab you in the back if the campaign calls for it. The class system is freeform enough that a Metamorph-Ranger hybrid or a Necromancer-Knight abomination are both valid builds. Elemental surfaces, height advantage, action point economy, status effect chains - the tactical combat layer here is genuinely deep, and the Definitive Edition addressed most of the pacing complaints about Act 3 that shipped with the original release. The four-player online co-op mode opens the campaign to a full party, and split-screen co-op is supported for couch play as well. A few honest caveats. DOS1 and DOS2 are stand-alone stories - you do not need to finish the first to understand the second, and most players will find DOS2 the more immediately engaging entry. DOS1's companion dialogue and quest writing can feel thin by comparison. DOS2 is also a long game; a thorough first playthrough routinely clears 80 to 100 hours before credits. That's a commitment, not a weekend side project. And if you already own either title separately, double-check your library before purchasing - the bundle adds no exclusive content beyond what each Definitive Edition already includes. The Source Saga is the right answer for anyone who wants to understand the Larian house style - reactive worlds, creative problem-solving rewarded over brute force, and turn-based combat that actually uses the entire board. DOS2 alone makes this bundle worth serious consideration for fans of the genre. Alex, Scout Team

The definitive entry point for Larian's pre-BG3 catalogue - DOS2 alone justifies the bundle for any tactical RPG fan.
