Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core - First Responder

I've watched enough live-service games chase the roguelike trend to know when it works and when it feels like a genre template stretched over existing IP. Rogue Core takes the mission-based structure of Deep Rock Galactic and runs it through a single-player gauntlet where each descent randomizes your loadout, perks, and objectives. The core loop is tight: mine, fight, survive, unlock modifiers for next run. The issue is pacing. Without squad callouts and the social friction that makes Deep Rock tick, the silence between waves gets loud. The cosmetic First Responder pass signals a monetization model built around cosmetics and seasonal content, which is fine, but you're paying that same seasonal tax without the organic emergencies that make raiding with guildmates feel unpredictable. If you want a solo roguelike with mining mechanics and a healthy loot economy, this scratches the itch. If you're hunting for the social glue that made the original work, you'll notice it's missing.
