Deep Rock Galactic - Robot Rebellion Pack
Pure cosmetics for one of the best co-op shooters on PC - but the scrap-metal aesthetic actually earns its place if you want your dwarf crew looking like they raided a junkyard on Hoxxes IV.

Acerca de Deep Rock Galactic - Robot Rebellion Pack
I'll be straight with you: reviewing a cosmetic DLC pack is a different exercise than reviewing a game, so let me give you the honest version. The Robot Rebellion Pack does exactly one thing - it changes how your dwarves look. No new missions, no gameplay unlocks, no extra difficulty modes. If you were hoping for more content, close this tab and go check the base game's free seasonal updates instead, because Ghost Ship Games has a strong track record of shipping those at no charge. What you actually get here is four class-specific armor sets - one each for the Driller, Engineer, Gunner, and Scout - plus helmets in Full Face and Half Face variants, and a matching paintjob that covers your weapons, your Bosco drone, and your pickaxe. The visual design leans hard into a post-apocalyptic scrapper look: riveted scrap plating, jury-rigged components, the kind of gear that looks like it was assembled from defeated Rival robot parts at 2 a.m. in the Space Rig. It is a coherent theme across all four classes, which is the thing that separates a well-executed cosmetic pack from a lazy one. For players who already have hours in Deep Rock Galactic and care about how their Scout looks while grapple-hooking across a crystal cave, or how their Driller presents while power-drilling through solid rock with satchel charges ready, the aesthetic genuinely holds up in motion. The weapon paintjob extends the theme rather than clashing with the default class loadouts, and the Bosco skin ties the solo-player experience into the same visual language. The two helmet variants are a small but appreciated touch - Full Face reads more menacing, Half Face lets you keep some dwarf personality visible. The honest critique is that cosmetic packs for live service games live and die on whether they fit your preferred playstyle-identity and whether the price feels fair for pure visual content. This pack does not add mechanical depth to a game that already has 10 mission types, four distinct classes with unique tools (from the Engineer's platform gun and sentry turrets to the Gunner's Lead Storm minigun and zipline launcher), procedurally generated destructible caves, and Hazard 5 difficulty that will genuinely humble you. All of that exists with or without this pack. The question is purely: do you want to look like a rebel while doing it. If you're still evaluating the base game rather than this add-on, that's the real conversation to have first. Deep Rock Galactic has an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam and an 85 on Metacritic for very good reason - it's a co-op FPS that respects your time and your squad. The Robot Rebellion Pack is for the player who already knows that, has logged the hours, and wants their dwarf to look the part.
