Deep Rock Galactic - Decontaminator Pack
Pure cosmetic support DLC for one of PC gaming's best co-op shooters, decent hazmat aesthetic, but Ghost Ship had to rework it after fan pushback before launch.

Acerca de Deep Rock Galactic - Decontaminator Pack
I've spent enough hours in Deep Rock Galactic's procedurally-generated caves to know that Ghost Ship Games sets a high bar for its paid cosmetics. Most packs land cleanly, giving all four classes a cohesive visual identity you're genuinely proud to wear into Hazard 5. The Decontaminator Pack, tied to Season 04: Critical Corruption, is the exception that proves the rule, it shipped only after the studio reworked the original design from scratch, which tells you something both about the community's standards and Ghost Ship's willingness to meet them. What you actually get here is a full weapon framework reskin across every gun in the game, a matching paintjob for armors, a pickaxe skin, and a Bosco paintjob for solo players' robotic companion. The "Decontaminator" theme leans into a hazmat, bio-containment aesthetic, think vials bolted to your barrel, digital readout panels, industrial insulation wrap. After the rework it reads more distinctly than the original reveal did, and if you run a Driller or Engineer with all the green-and-yellow hazmat kit applied, the look holds together reasonably well as a coherent loadout. That said, this is the weakest entry in Deep Rock Galactic's DLC lineup by community consensus, and honestly that consensus is fair. The pack is weapon-framework heavy and lacks the armor pieces or helmet variants that other packs include. Players who primarily care about their dwarf's silhouette on the Space Rig will find less here than in something like the Roughneck or Biohazard packs. The paintjobs also use a color palette that overlaps with what already exists in the base game, so if you're hoping for a truly unique visual signature, this isn't the pack that delivers it. The base game itself remains one of the most well-designed co-op shooters you can buy on PC, with four asymmetric classes, Scout, Gunner, Engineer, Driller, each with distinct movement tools and combat roles, weapon overclock systems that meaningfully reshape playstyles, and procedurally generated biomes that keep missions from feeling routine across hundreds of hours. The DLC pipeline is unusually clean: six seasons of free content have been added post-launch, with paid cosmetics kept strictly optional and zero gameplay gating. Buying this pack does nothing to your stats; it's purely about how you look while you're getting swarmed by Glyphids. If you're a completionist who wants every framework in the wardrobe, or you want to support Ghost Ship, the Decontaminator Pack is a functional purchase. If you're buying one DLC to complement your first hundred hours, start with a pack that includes armor parts and helmets, you'll get more visible mileage out of it.
