The real friction is the onboarding. Tutorial is sparse, UI tooltips are thin, and new players fumble through the first hour guessing at optimal layouts and staff assignments. If you're comfortable with trial-and-error or have played other business sims, that roughness smooths out quickly. The audience here is specifically fans of detailed economic sims who don't mind a rough presentation. Don't expect Crusader Kings -level depth or Casino Tycoon nostalgia pandering, this is workmanlike systems management. The DLC expands gambling operations specifically, targeting players already invested in the base game. Solo-focused, no multiplayer, no story.
