Sixteen synth-pop tracks that turn your city-planning sessions into something closer to a rooftop bar at golden hour. Pure atmosphere, zero gameplay impact, but hard to skip if you log serious hours in Cities: Skylines.

I have spent more hours in Cities: Skylines than I care to admit to anyone who isn't also colour-coding their district policies, so when Colossal Order drops a radio DLC, I notice. Sunny Breeze Radio is exactly what it sounds like: 16 modern synth tracks designed to sit underneath the hum of your traffic simulation and the slow grind of your budget spreadsheet. It does not add buildings, mechanics, or maps. It adds a mood, and whether that matters to you depends entirely on how much the ambient soundscape affects your session quality. The base game this DLC sits inside remains one of the deepest city-builders on PC. Road layout, zoning, district-level policy control, public transport planning across buses, metro, and rail, supply chains via the Industries expansion, and a mod ecosystem on Steam Workshop that has been producing community assets for years. The simulation runs individual citizen pathfinding, which means your traffic decisions have real downstream consequences, not just cosmetic ones. Sunny Breeze Radio does nothing to change any of that, but the right music can keep you in the chair through a particularly stubborn congestion problem. The 16 tracks lean toward breezy, summery electronic and synth-pop, closer to a beach-side playlist than the harder-edged electronic sets you get from Rail Hawk Radio, the companion station released alongside this one. The production quality is solid throughout. Nothing here will offend, and a few tracks carry enough energy to make rezoning an industrial district feel more dramatic than it has any right to. On the other hand, there is no track-skipping control built into the in-game radio UI that most players would call granular, so if a track does not land for you, you wait it out. For newcomers figuring out whether to start with a base game DLC stack or a radio pack: start elsewhere. The After Dark, Industries, or Mass Transit expansions add actual decision-making layers that reshape how you plan a city. Radio DLC is the last thing to pick up, once you already know you are going to spend 100-plus hours here and the default soundtrack is starting to feel thin. For that specific player, Sunny Breeze Radio delivers exactly the low-friction atmosphere boost it promises. Diego, Scout Team

Veredicto de GamerScout

Worth it only after you have already sunk serious hours into the base game and want a lighter, summery audio layer for long sessions.
