I went in expecting the usual sim-racing treatment, and WRC: Generations delivers exactly that: no assists, unforgiving physics, real 2022 championship roster including the new hybrid powerplants. If you've got a wheel and pedals bolted down, the stage design is meaty enough to justify the grind. Split-screen and online co-op are there, which is solid for local tournaments. The catch: this isn't a pick-up-and-play affair. Gamepad support is partial, the learning curve is steep, and there's almost zero hand-holding. If you're chasing an arcade racer or a casual Friday night kart game, keep looking. This is for the rally faithful who already know their way around a Hyundai i20 and want authentic, repetition-heavy stage work.
