World Rally Fever: Born on the Road

I went in expecting a budget rally sim and got something more ambitious than I bargained for. World Rally Fever trades arcade thrills for track-mud-your-tires realism, where rain actually softens the road surface and your lines change lap to lap. The core driving loop is solid if you're patient with physics that reward smooth inputs over twitchy corrections. It's the kind of game that feels like it had a solid idea and half the budget to finish it. The rough edges are real. Visuals are dated, menus feel clunky, and there's no handholding if you're new to rally racing. But if you're the type who owns a steering wheel and has already burned through the obvious rally sims, this scratches an itch the bigger names don't. It's a niche game for niche players, and it knows it.
