Will Glow the Wisp
A stripped-down physics platformer that ditches solid ground for particle-based movement and arcade chaos, think Super Meat Boy's punishment with Geometry Wars' visual frenzy.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for arcade platformer fans who view difficulty as a feature and don't mind abstract visuals over traditional level design.

About Will Glow the Wisp
Will Glow the Wisp throws out the rulebook on what a platformer needs to be. Instead of platforms, you're navigating abstract particle systems with momentum-based controls that feel slippery and unpredictable in the best way. It's punishing in the vein of Super Meat Boy, but the visual feedback is pure arcade neon, particles exploding and reconfiguring as you bash through obstacles. The movement mechanics are the whole game here, and they're weird enough that your first hour will be spent just figuring out how your character wants to move. This is plainly not for everyone. If you need traditional level design with clear sight lines, move on. But if you're the type who found satisfaction in Super Meat Boy's sadistic difficulty and want something that looks like nothing else, this abstract take on momentum-based platforming has genuine charm. It's a tight, focused experience with no padding.
