About Unshaded
I approached Unshaded knowing it was made by the same designer behind Within the Blade, which means sparse storytelling and mission-focused gameplay. You're doing one thing per level: infiltrate, eliminate, escape. No upgrades, no progression bloat. Difficulty ramps hard fast, and the game expects you to learn level layouts, guard patterns, and optimal paths through trial and error. Controller support is solid, which matters for the precision this demands. The catch: there's almost no onboarding. You'll fail dozens of times before the systems click, and if you hate replaying failed stealth runs, this isn't your game. But if you like the puzzle-ness of Opus Magnum applied to espionage, or you've completed Hitman's hardest challenges and want more, the mission depth here justifies the low price. Diego, Scout Team
