TumbleSeed

I went in expecting a gimmick and found something genuinely clever. TumbleSeed strips roguelikes down to pure control-and-consequence: you tilt a board left and right to keep a marble-like seed moving upward against gravity, obstacles, and your own panic. Each run randomizes the mountain layout and power-ups, so you're constantly relearning the feel. The physics are tight enough that failure feels fair, not random, which matters when you're playing the same climb a dozen times. It's hypnotic for 30-minute bursts but doesn't demand commitment. No story layers, no build theorycrafting, just you and a tilting board. If twin-stick shooters or marble-rolling puzzles appeal to you, this nails that meditative-but-demanding sweet spot. Fair warning: it's short, and once you crack the rhythm, the novelty wears faster than other roguelikes.
