About Trepang2
Trepang2 is a short, punchy first-person game that runs on vibes more than polish. You move fast, shoot faster, and everything dissolves into pixelated chaos when the bullets start flying. The combat is deliberately janky in a way that somehow works, enemies ragdoll spectacularly, level design is deliberately cramped and claustrophobic, and the whole thing has the feel of a game made by people who loved early Half-Life and wanted to see how weird they could push it. There's no pretense here, no AAA gloss. If you want tight gunplay and modern conveniences, look elsewhere. What makes it stick is the sheer commitment to its aesthetic. The levels are short, the pacing is relentless, and it knows exactly what it is: a scrappy indie game with personality for days and a price tag to match. It won't blow your mind, but if you're tired of polished, safe shooters and want something that feels like it crawled out of a dusty 2003 mod folder, this delivers that feeling in spades.
