GamerScout Verdict
Solid arcade tank action if you crave 80s-style blasting; skip if you want modern polish or depth.

About Tank Blast
Tank Blast is a no-frills action game where you pilot a tank through isometric arenas and blast your way through waves of enemies. It's the kind of game that doesn't try to be anything fancy: point, shoot, survive. The appeal is pure mechanical feedback, aiming and timing matter more than loadouts or progression systems. It's closest to the arcade tank games of the 80s and 90s, minus modern conveniences like tutorials or hand-holding. The catch is that 2016 was a long time ago, and Tank Blast hasn't aged gracefully. Expect dated graphics, minimal content, and no multiplayer. It's a pick-up-and-play between-game sort of title, something to warm up your reflexes for 20 minutes, not a weekend sink. If you're hunting retro-styled action and don't mind rough edges, it scratches that itch cheaply. Otherwise, modern tank games and roguelikes do this formula better now.
