I spent a few hours with Succubus Successor and found something genuinely different hiding under the provocative premise. This is a Metroidvania built around negotiation and charm rather than combat reflexes. You play Delilah, a succubus tracking down a demon lord, and your main power is literally persuading enemies to join your side or creating openings through intimate encounters. The level design rewards exploration with the kind of satisfying map completion that fans of the genre crave, and the puzzle-solving leans atmospheric rather than punishing. The pixel art is warm and intentional, the soundtrack sets a moody tone without overselling itself, and the core loop of "seduce, explore, uncover" feels cohesive. Very Positive reviews suggest the execution lands for its small audience. This isn't for everyone, the seduction mechanic is the entire DNA of the game, but if you're tired of Metroidvanias that play it safe, this one knows exactly what it is.
