About STRIDE [VR]
I went in expecting a narrative-driven VR adventure and got something leaner instead. STRIDE is pure kinetic geometry: you're vaulting, wall-running, and sliding through clean white spaces where the only feedback that matters is momentum and landing cleanly. Joy Way has built a game around the satisfaction of chaining moves together, no cutscenes or hand-holding required. It's a focused pitch that works best if you're already comfortable in VR and crave that high-precision movement challenge. The parkour mechanics feel responsive, and there's real skill separation between sloppy runs and clean ones. That said, the minimalist aesthetic and repetitive level structure won't appeal to everyone, especially if you wanted story flavor or visual spectacle. If you're the type who spent hours in Superhot or Thrill of the Fight chasing flow states, this one's for you.
