Starship Troopers: Terran Command - Urban Onslaught
A tactics game set in the Starship Troopers universe where you command squads through bug-infested urban combat. Rough around the edges, but scratches a specific itch for RTS fans who want boots on the ground.
GamerScout Verdict
A scrappy tactics game that gets the squad-level strategy right, but lacks the polish and mission variety to demand your time.

About Starship Troopers: Terran Command - Urban Onslaught
I went in expecting a straight adaptation of the film's mindless militarism, but Urban Onslaught leans harder into deliberate squad positioning and tactical decision-making. You're managing small infantry units through tight city maps, dealing with swarms of Bugs that reward careful use of cover and flanking over spray-and-pray tactics. It's more XCOM-adjacent than an action romp, and that's where it finds its legs. The rough part: presentation feels threadbare, and the bug AI can be inconsistent in ways that break immersion rather than challenge you. Mission variety is lean, and there's not much reason to replay once you've pushed through the campaign. If you're burning out on polished AAA tactics games and want something scrappy that still respects your intelligence as a player, it's worth a look. Otherwise, skip it.
