Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Starlink is a straightforward arcade-style shooter where you pilot a spaceship through alien-infested sectors, upgrade your arsenal, and grind through procedural encounters. The core loop is solid: fly, shoot, dodge, collect loot, repeat. Co-op multiplayer is the main draw if you've got a friend willing to sit through the repetition with you. Don't expect a story, complex mechanics, or anything that will surprise you. It's mining-game territory: you know what you're getting. The flight controls feel responsive and the weapon variety keeps combat from feeling stale for a few hours. Beyond that, there's not much meat here. If you're the type who can lose four hours to a well-tuned arcade grind with a buddy online, this scratches that itch. Solo players will find the novelty wearing thin faster.
