Best for stealth enthusiasts willing to overlook dated graphics in exchange for genuine long-range marksmanship tactics.

About Sniper Ghost Warrior
I went in expecting Call of Duty with a scope, but Sniper Ghost Warrior is slower, clunkier, and oddly more deliberate. You're rewarded for using wind direction, bullet drop, and sound masking rather than just lining up headshots. The campaign missions have teeth if you approach them as puzzles - find the vantage point, wait for the patrol pattern, one shot, extract. The AI can be dense and animations creak with age, but there's real satisfaction in a clean long-distance takedown. Multiplayer exists but the population is essentially gone. Single-player campaign is the actual game, and it's worth a few evenings if you want something that respects your trigger discipline. It's not sophisticated or pretty, but it commits to sniper-job authenticity better than most mainstream competitors.
