Skillwood

I've put a fair number of hours into incremental games, and Skillwood nails the fundamentals: you chop trees, mine stone, trade with NPCs, and unlock new areas and tree types through meaningful progression loops. The prestige system gives you reason to reset and restart stronger, a mechanic that works only if the early game doesn't feel like punishment. Here it doesn't. The upgrade trees are straightforward enough that you won't need a wiki, but there's enough room for experimentation to keep each run interesting. What matters: this is free-to-play without the aggressive push toward spending. Cloud saves work, achievements are present if you care about them, and the overall pacing respects that you have other things to do. It's not trying to be deep strategy; it's a competent, relaxing loop that does exactly what it promises. If you like watching numbers climb and unlocking new content in bite-sized sessions, Skillwood delivers.
