Strategic zombie survival for players who prefer puzzle-solving over story; best in short bursts.

About Rabiez: Epidemic
I went in expecting another tower-defense zombie slog, but Rabiez: Epidemic leans harder on the survival management side. You're herding a small band of survivors through infected zones in real-time, making split-second calls about when to fight, when to run, and who stays behind. The combat itself is tactical rather than twitch-based, which is the game's strongest hook, every decision about resource allocation and positioning matters. The catch is that the whole package feels rough around the edges. Presentation is minimal, AI pathing occasionally stalls, and there's no sense of progression or story pulling you forward. It works as a tense survival puzzle for 30-60 minutes at a stretch, but longevity depends entirely on whether you enjoy repeating the same scenarios to optimize routes. If you want strategic zombie management without AAA polish, it's worth a shot. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
