Compare Prototype Biohazard Bundle prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Activision. Published by Activision. Released on 7/14/2015. Available on Xbox. Genres: Action, Adventure.

Two open-world action games where you play as shape-shifting bioweapons tearing through cities with absurd mutation powers. Janky but cathartic if you want to stop thinking and start consuming everything.

I picked this up knowing exactly what I was getting: two mid-2000s open-world action games built on the principle that watching your character absorb cars and soldiers with grotesque animations is inherently satisfying. It is. Both Prototype and Prototype 2 let you sprint up skyscrapers, shapeshift into enemy soldiers, and chain mutations together while destroying city blocks. The combat feels loose and forgiving compared to modern Souls-likes, and the destruction physics are genuinely fun to toy with. That said, these games are rough around the edges. Missions are repetitive, story is forgettable, and the camera loves betraying you mid-fight. Performance on older Xbox hardware can stutter. If you're here for tight mechanics or a gripping narrative, walk. If you want a dumb, bloody sandbox where your character is an unstoppable force of nature, you'll find exactly what you came for.
