Override: Mech City Brawl

Override is a mech brawler that knows exactly what it is: a throwback to arcade fighters where you pilot oversized robots and demolish each other across destructible city environments. Think less technical fighting game, more Power Rangers: The Game. You pick a giant robot, learn a handful of combos, and wade into local or online multiplayer matches where explosions matter more than frame data. It's got charm in spades and the core loop of "charge in, hit things, watch stuff break" works fine for what it's aiming at. The roster is colorful, the destruction is satisfying, and it runs without fuss. But there's not much meat on the bones if you're hunting for strategic depth or a robust single-player campaign. If you want a goofy, low-commitment mech brawler to play with friends or online randoms, it delivers. If you want the next big fighter, keep looking.
