New Yankee 9: The Evil Spellbook
A casual match-3 puzzle game that wraps itself in Arthurian fantasy but never lets strategy breathe. Decent for phone-level play on PC, rough edges and all.

About New Yankee 9: The Evil Spellbook
I went in expecting a strategy game and got a straightforward match-3 puzzler with resource-gathering wrapped around it. New Yankee 9 sits firmly in the casual tier: you clear tiles, collect gold and wood, rebuild villages, and unlock story beats. The core loop is functional but forgettable. No real tactical depth here, no build variety, no reason to plan more than one turn ahead. The Arthurian theme feels bolted on rather than integrated. Worth a few hours if you want low-stakes puzzle solving without commitment. Just don't expect the strategy layer to engage you. This is mobile-game DNA on PC, which means it knows what it is but doesn't push boundaries. Perfectly fine for background play, nothing more. Diego, Scout Team
