Monster Prom: XXL

Monster Prom is a visual novel speed-run where you've got 72 in-game hours to woo one of several monster classmates before prom night. The hook is the time limit and the branching dialogue paths that actually change depending on your choices, so replaying to catch different character routes feels worth it. Combat and stats play a role, but the real draw is the stupid humor and the genuine chemistry between characters despite the premise being ridiculous. The XXL version bundles in extra content, but what matters is whether you're into short visual novels with weird charm over production value. If you can't laugh at yourself during a high school dance scenario where one of your dates might literally be a werewolf, this won't land. For anyone who digs narrative games that don't take themselves seriously and want something you can knock out in a few sittings, it's a solid pick.
