The learning curve is real but satisfying - each run teaches you something about unit matchups and map control without holding your hand. It's not for players who need flashy UI or deep progression systems. But if you want core tactics gameplay stripped of excess, Militia delivers. The tight design means every decision matters, and losses feel like your fault, not the game's. That's the kind of friction some players love and others will bounce off immediately.
