A VR adventure from 2016 that asks you to save your dying father by chasing a MacGuffin across an Antarctic base, stylish premise, sparse execution.

I went in expecting a narrative-driven VR experience in the vein of early Oculus storytelling. What I found was a walking sim with point-and-click adventure mechanics tacked on: you poke around a research station, solve inventory puzzles, and listen to your father's exposition dumps via audio logs. The art direction is clean and the premise (retrieving the Quintessence to reverse aging) has genuine sci-fi weight, but the pacing drags. Dialogue feels stiff, puzzles are straightforward, and the sense of urgency your dying father supposedly brings never lands. This is a curio for VR hobbyists from when the medium was still figuring out how to tell stories. It's not broken or offensive, it's just thin. If you want atmospheric first-person adventure without combat, it scratches that itch. Everyone else should look elsewhere. Alex, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

A polished but slow VR adventure that works best for genre historians, not casual players seeking immersion.
