Liumang Dudaxue (the title translates roughly to "Rogue Goes to University") is a scrappy, no-frills comedy game that doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. You're playing a crude rogue character fumbling through college life, and the whole thing is deliberately janky, pixelated sprites, minimal animation, text boxes that feel like they were written by someone who had no filter and infinite free time. The humor lands hardest if you speak Chinese or don't mind reading subtitles; it's unapologetically lowbrow, loaded with pop-culture riffs and character types that'll sail over your head if you're not steeped in that cultural context. There's no combat system worth discussing, no complex mechanics to master. This is pure comedic narrative wrapped in the thinnest game shell possible. If you're hunting for refined game design or a AAA experience, walk away now. But if you're the type who appreciates indie devs making weird stuff for a niche audience, and you can tolerate (or enjoy) deliberately ugly aesthetics as part of the joke, there's genuine charm here.
