The appeal is obvious for local multiplayer on Switch: basketball, volleyball, hurdles, javelin throws, and the like. Problem is execution feels uneven. Some events are snappy and satisfying; others feel sluggish or demand too much precision for what should be pick-up-and-play fun. There's no online play, so this lives or dies on split-screen couch parties. If you've got a household that regularly gathers for Mario Party-style nights and you want something lighter, this scratches that itch without demanding much skill investment.
