Compare HyperRogue prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Zeno Rogue. Published by Zeno Rogue. Released on 1/16/2015. Available on PC. Genres: Indie.

A roguelike where the hyperbolic plane itself is the puzzle, move-based time and non-Euclidean geometry combine for something genuinely unlike anything else on Steam.

I've played a lot of procedural games, but HyperRogue broke my spatial intuition in the best way. You move through a world that curves inward infinitely, where a straight line loops back on itself and distances work differently than our brains expect. It's a turn-based roguelike, so time only passes when you move, giving you space to think through the alien geometry. The loop-based progression and treasure hunting reward curiosity, and the soundtrack has this haunting, almost meditative quality that matches the otherworldly setting. Zeno Rogue built this alone and it shows, every system, from the procedural generation to the VR support, feels considered. The learning curve is real; you'll spend your first run confused about why the map feels wrong. But that wrongness is the entire point, and players who sit with it report nearly 100% positive reviews for a reason. It's short enough to finish in a handful of runs, long enough to keep surprising you. Kai, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

For players who want their brain rewired: a haunting, geometrically impossible roguelike that justifies its cult status.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
