Hazardous Space

I went in expecting a tutorial. Hazardous Space has none. You're dropped into a ship with fuel, cargo, and a vague sense that trading and combat exist somewhere in the mechanics. The interface is sparse, the premise is thin, and the game trusts you to reverse-engineer your own goals. That's either refreshing or frustrating depending on your tolerance for discovery-based play. What's here works as a low-fidelity spacefaring sandbox, movement feels responsive, combat is straightforward, and there's genuine risk when your fuel runs dry. It's not polished, it's not ambitious, but it does the one thing it attempts without pretense. If you're the type who enjoys no-frills sim games and don't need a narrative hook, you might find something worth a few sessions. Everyone else will bounce within minutes.
