About Garlic Builder
I booted up Garlic Builder expecting nothing and got exactly that, which somehow works. It's a no-nonsense sim where you plant, tend, and harvest garlic across procedural seasons. The loop is clean: place seeds, manage soil, watch them grow, sell your crop. No dialogue, no cutscenes, no progression treadmill trying to sell you cosmetics. It's the kind of game that knows what it is and doesn't apologize for being small. There's something oddly meditative about it once you stop expecting complexity. The visuals are functional, the controls straightforward, and the appeal is narrow: if you liked Stardew Valley's farm core but want zero story overhead, this scratches that itch. For anyone else, it's probably a 20-minute curiosity. That's not a knock. Sometimes a game just wants to let you grow digital garlic, and that's fine.
