Forsaken Remastered Key

I went in expecting a relic, but Forsaken Remastered is a genuinely solid arcade shooter wrapped in early-90s sci-fi chrome. You pilot a fighter through fully 3D corridors, blasting enemies and collecting power-ups while managing your drift in zero-G flight. The six-degrees-of-freedom combat feels more deliberate than Descent (its spiritual cousin) and the level design, while simple by today's standards, holds up as pure navigation puzzles mixed with survival combat. The remaster strips away the DOS compatibility layer without overcomplicating the original formula, though it's clearly a niche title riding nostalgia hard. Solo campaign is short, enemy AI isn't clever, and there's no story to hang onto. If you loved early arena shooters or want a taste of 90s arcade action without irony, this scratches that itch. Everyone else should probably skip it.
