GamerScout Verdict
A TCG with untapped lore potential, but execution and isolation make it a tough sell for anyone but the most forgiving card fans.

About Forgotten Lore
I picked up Forgotten Lore expecting a digital card battler with some narrative weight, but what I found was a thin premise stretched across a game that doesn't do much to explain itself. It's an online TCG where you're meant to care about the lore, except the lore barely exists in the interface, and the card mechanics feel generic without any hook that makes me want to grind through matches. The real problem isn't the concept - trading card games work fine - it's the execution and the ghost-town player base. With no Steam reviews, no active community visible, and no clear roadmap, this feels abandoned or perpetually pre-launch. If you're hungry for a niche card game and don't mind being alone in it, sure, try it. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
