Only for bullet-hell veterans who thrive on pattern memorization and zero mercy. Everyone else: skip.

About eXceed 3rd - Jade Penetrate Black Package
I went in blind on this one because eXceed 3rd sits so far off the mainstream radar that finding honest coverage is nearly impossible. It's a vertical-scrolling bullet-hell shooter where your survival depends entirely on learning enemy patterns and threading through walls of fire. The game is unapologetically old-school: no tutorials, no hand-holding, just you and thousands of projectiles. If you've logged serious hours in Cave or Touhou, you know exactly what to expect, and that's the entire audience this was built for. The catch is that eXceed 3rd assumes you already speak bullet-hell fluently. There's no difficulty slider or story mode softening the blow. You either have the reflexes and the patience to memorize attack sequences, or you'll bounce off in minutes. Nyu Media's audience is razor-thin, which means finding teammates or community guides is a dead end. Solo players only, and only if you genuinely enjoy arcade-era unforgiving design.
