A compact platformer with a genuinely clever mechanic and level design that respects your time, indie craft done right.

About EvilMorph
I spent a few hours with EvilMorph expecting a gimmick platformer, but the core idea works: kill an enemy, steal its ability, use it to reach new areas. It's reminiscent of Kirby's suction copy, except here the transformation is permanent until you grab something else. The level design respects this constraint, each room is a small puzzle of which power solves which obstacle. There's no bloat, no tutorial padding. It just gives you the tools and trusts you to figure it out. The pixel art is serviceable, the enemies are simple, and the soundtrack sits quietly in the background. Nothing spectacular, but nothing actively bad either. It's the kind of indie game that knows exactly what it is: a focused, compact idea executed without pretension. If you want a platformer that respects your time and offers a genuinely interesting mechanic, EvilMorph deserves the spotlight it never got.
