About Enclave HD
Enclave HD is a first-person dungeon crawler that strips away modern conveniences and leans into old-school grinding and methodical exploration. You move through dark corridors, fight basic enemies, and pick up loot in an isometric-ish perspective that's more functional than flashy. The visuals are intentionally lo-fi, embracing a retro aesthetic that works better on Switch's smaller screen than it probably would at desktop resolution. If you're burned out on quest markers and hand-holding, there's something refreshing here, though the game doesn't always make the best case for its own existence. Combat is basic, dungeons loop in ways that feel repetitive rather than atmospheric, and there's no clear hook to keep you invested past the first hour. It's niche even by indie standards. Worth a shot if you loved the original Wizardry or Dungeon Master and want something that doesn't apologize for slow pacing, but don't expect a hidden classic.
