Compare Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Gearbox Publishing. Available on PC.

A forgotten Duke Nukem spinoff that trades the franchise's signature swagger for isometric shooter tedium.

I picked up Manhattan Project expecting the loud, dumb fun of Duke 3D. Instead, I got a clunky isometric shooter that feels like a PS1-era budget title that missed its era entirely. The premise is pure Duke cheese - aliens invading New York, you're the only guy with a gun - but the execution is flat. Movement feels sluggish, enemy AI is basic, and the camera angles make targeting more frustrating than tactical. There's a co-op mode, which is the only thing that might salvage a few hours with a friend willing to laugh at how dated this plays. This is a relic that didn't age well and probably wasn't great even when it released. Gearbox published it, but Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project has none of the personality that makes the series worth revisiting. Skip it unless you're hunting every Duke game ever made and have low expectations already wired in. Alex, Scout Team
