About Crystal Rift
Crystal Rift is a first-person dungeon crawler built on a classic grid system, the kind of game that feels like it stepped out of a 1990s shareware disc. You move tile by tile through increasingly unsettling environments, and the game trusts silence and strange visuals to unsettle you rather than cheap gotchas. It's more about the experience of being lost in a hostile maze than combat or puzzle-solving. If you grew up on Dungeon Master or Eye of the Beholder, or you just want something slow and eerie without modern horror tropes, this scratches that itch. The grid-based movement removes urgency, which somehow makes the atmosphere sit heavier. Don't expect hand-holding or clear goals. You're meant to feel out of place.
