GamerScout Verdict
For completionists only; the core loop hasn't changed enough to warrant a return trip.

About Crime Boss: Rockay City - Cagnali's Order
I went in expecting Crime Boss: Rockay City's first major expansion to add some fresh hooks to the core sandbox, but Cagnali's Order mostly recycles familiar mob-boss mechanics without meaningful innovation. The new content slots into the existing campaign structure, offering a few additional mission chains and some cosmetic variety, but the underlying gameplay loop remains unchanged: take territory, manage crews, repeat. If you've already exhausted the base game and crave more of the same grind, this might scratch that itch for a few hours. The real issue is that the expansion doesn't solve any of the original game's pacing or repetition problems. Mission design feels padded rather than purposeful, and the story beats don't land with enough impact to carry you through the slog. Unless you're a hardcore Rockay City completionist, there's not enough here to pull you back in.
