GamerScout Verdict
For spreadsheet-happy players only; lacks the narrative charm that makes merchant sims stick.

About CraftCraft: Fantasy Merchant Simulator
I went in expecting a cozy crafting loop and got something closer to a proto-game. CraftCraft is about gathering materials, combining them into sellable items, and negotiating prices with fantasy shopkeepers. The core mechanic works: there's a rhythm to planning inventory and timing sales. But the game feels half-baked. UI is clunky, there's minimal narrative flavor, and progression flattens fast once you've figured out the profit margins. This is for players who find spreadsheet optimization relaxing and don't need flashy visuals or story hooks to stay engaged. If you want Recettear's charm or even a thin narrative wrapper, keep looking. If you just want to sit with a simple crafting loop and watch your gold pile grow, it scratches that itch, barely.
