About Checkers Kingdom
Checkers Kingdom is exactly what it sounds like: a digital checkers implementation with a kingdom theme bolted on. If you're here because you want to play checkers against an AI or another human, it does that. The rules work, the board renders, pieces move where they're supposed to. But there's no hint of why this needed to exist as a standalone Steam release rather than, say, playing checkers on Chess.com or literally any board-game app that bundles it as a secondary mode. The kingdom framing suggests there might be a campaign or progression system, but nothing in the available info confirms that. You're paying for a checkers engine with a title. That's a legitimate product if you're desperate for offline checkers, but the market solved this problem in 1997. Skip unless you have a very specific need for a barebones checkers client.
