Cars, Girls and Rock 'n' Roll
A retro racing throwback that captures the vibe of classic muscle cars and open roads, but struggles to deliver much beyond the aesthetic.

About Cars, Girls and Rock 'n' Roll
I went in expecting a fun homage to golden-era street racing, and Cars, Girls and Rock 'n' Roll nails the atmosphere, think sunset drives with a killer soundtrack and vintage iron that sounds meaty. The problem is everything else feels thin. Track variety is minimal, the AI is basic, and the handling model doesn't give you much to work with whether you're playing on a gamepad or wheel. It's a single-player experience with no multiplayer, so you're just chasing ghosts. If you're a hardcore sim racer, skip it. If you want a chill arcade racer with charm and nostalgia? This has the bones for that, but the execution leaves you wanting more substance under the hood. Worth a shot at a discount if the aesthetic really speaks to you, but don't expect depth.
