GamerScout Verdict
A competent PONG remake for couch players and online arcade fans, but lacks the systems depth to justify play beyond a few sessions.

About Bounce
I approached Bounce expecting either a nostalgia trap or a clever systems twist on PONG's 50-year-old formula. What's here is straightforward: you control a paddle, the ball bounces, you score or you don't. The 2D aesthetic is clean, and local split-screen plus online PvP are solid foundations for a party game. Full controller support and Steam Leaderboards suggest the developer understands arcade-game expectations. The core issue is that Bounce doesn't justify its existence beyond "PONG still works." No power-ups, no rule variants, no single-player progression arc that teaches you anything. For 1v1 or casual couch play with friends, it does its job. But unless you're specifically hunting for a frictionless online paddle game without roguelike bloat or battle-pass nonsense, there's little here to grip you past the first weekend.
