GamerScout Verdict
For VR players craving arcade gunplay without narrative baggage. Fast and focused, but intentionally thin on depth.

About Blasters of the Universe [VR]
I went in expecting a story-driven VR campaign and found something simpler: a wave-based shooter where you're anchored in place, dual-wielding weapons against incoming enemies. It's pure reflex arcade design, the kind of game that lives or dies by how good the gunplay feels. Secret Location built something snappy here - recoil matters, ammo management forces decisions, and the difficulty ramps consistently without artificial padding. The trade-off is obvious: no character progression, no story hooks, no pretense. You're grinding for high scores and survival streaks. That's a deal-breaker for players hunting narrative depth, but if you want a VR shooting gallery that respects your time and doesn't waste it on bloat, this scratches that itch cleanly. Works best in short bursts.
