Ace of Spades: Battle Builder

Ace of Spades is a first-person shooter built entirely around destructible terrain. You mine blocks, construct cover and structures mid-firefight, and watch the map reshape itself as players dig tunnels, topple towers, and level entire hillsides. It's Minecraft's building with Counter-Strike's pace - fast, chaotic, and weirdly tactical once you understand how to use vertical space and solid ground as weapons. The core loop works: teams compete to control territory, plant explosives, or eliminate the other side, all while the world crumbles around them. What holds it back is the aging engine and a playerbase small enough that matchmaking can feel thin. If you want a shooter where construction and destruction are the main verbs, not afterthoughts, it's worth a look. Just don't expect constant queues.
