The "Professional" label distinguishes it from the entry-level Visio Standard 2024 and from cloud-subscription plans such as Visio Plan 2. Visio is Microsoft's long-established tool for turning complex processes, systems, and data into structured visual diagrams.

What's included

The Professional edition ships with everything in Standard plus several capabilities that matter most to technical and business users:
