Do the new weapons actually change how you approach a run? For a 2018 indie effort, it delivers on those mechanics without unnecessary narrative or grinding systems to pad playtime. If you're chasing high scores and arcade-style replayability, this scratches that itch cheaply. If you need story beats or deep progression systems, look elsewhere. It's honest work.
